HARRY RAMSDENS - REBRAND


This piece was a response to the Roses Student Awards 2013 - "to re-brand Harry Ramsdens and make them relevant again... celebrate their past but define their future"

I redesigned the logo with the idea of a chip fork in mind. I experimented with thin pieces of wood and made a mockup chip shop sign and business cards (which can also be used to eat with).
I changed the "H" in Harry so that it incorporated a fish hook, to suggest that all of the fish used by Harry Ramsdens are caught fresh and are of the finest quality.

Along with this I also redesigned the Harry Ramsden's menu and mushy peas tin, as well as introducing 3 new products (vinegar, tartare sauce and sea salt).
These products could be sold in both supermarkets and in Harry Ramsden's restaurants.
